1. How long will it take for my order to arrive? How much do you charge for deliveries?

We will deliver products ordered by you by courier using FEDEX or postal service to the delivery address that you have given us. If the item you ordered is in stock, it will be despatched within 7 days (during special promotions this may increase to 10 to 14 working days) but please allow up to 28 days as most of our products are made to order or any lead-time specified for the manufactured product you ordered. When we process your order, we will also notify you if any product is not available.

1.1 By courier

For UK ORDERS, we charge a standard postage and packaging of £5. When a parcel is delivered you will be asked to sign for it as proof of receipt. If you are not there, a card will be dropped through your door stating how to get your parcel. You may choose an alternative delivery address with special instructions. Risk of loss or damage to, and title to, the products will pass to you at the time of delivery. You should inspect the products as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery.

We also offer a next day delivery which will cost £10. This service is only available for UK ORDERS if the item is IN STOCK and the order received by phone BEFORE 10.00AM. For orders received by phone after 10.00am, we will deliver within 48 hours. You will need to sign on receipt of delivery.

If you provide us with your email when placing your order we can notify you of tracking details for your delivery.

International orders are generally delivered in 10 to 14 working days. The prices vary on the volume of the order and on the country of destination. Prices available upon request. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.

2 What happens if the item I would like to buy is out of stock?

Most of our products are made to order. If an item is out of stock you will be notified at the point of order, we will back order it for you. If this is the case we will contact you with the option of cancelling your order if you prefer. Please do contact us for an indication of when that item is expected to be available and we can then keep you informed about likely availability.

3 What do I do if I would like to return my order?

At Melin Tregwynt we are proud of the fabrics we weave which are the product of a way of thinking, of working and of living handed down through three generations of our family business. We believe good design is all about getting the details right so the products that we carefully select to complement our fabrics, we think, express the knowledge, strength and skill of the people who made it.

As a consumer you have the right to cancel your order by notifying us within 28 days of receipt. All customers who cancel under this statutory "cooling off period" are entitled to a refund including the cost of delivery, are required to return the relevant products to us within such 28 day period, in their original condition, complete, labelled, unused and unwashed and will be reimbursed the reasonable cost incurred in returning the products. THESE CONDITIONS DO NOT APPLY TO SPECIAL COMMISSIONED AND BESPOKE ITEMS.

To return any product to us please contact Melin Tregwynt in advance, who will confirm how to make the return. Please return a copy or the original proof of purchase (it can be a till receipt, invoice, card receipt or bank statement) and clearly indicate in a covering letter what action you require us to take and whether you want a refund or exchange, please provide us with any updated contact details that may be required so that we can resolve things quickly and efficiently, including your address, day time phone number and email. Pack the items up securely and safely in a parcel and include the paperwork as indicated above and clearly address the parcel and send it back to:

When returning items we strongly recommend that you use a recorded tracked delivery, and that you obtain and retain proof of posting and despatch. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.

Your sole right in relation to a defective product is a refund, replacement or repair by Melin Tregwynt, except for death or personal injury or other liabilities that cannot be limited by law.

Melin Tregwynt's entire liability in relation to any product sold to you shall to the extent permitted by law not exceed the amount you paid to Melin Tregwynt for the product. When you return a product to us, we will examine the returned products and will notify you of your entitlement to a refund via e-mail within 14 days.

Refunds will be given on the following basis:

Where you have validly returned a product as above, we will refund the full amount paid by you for the product, including the cost of delivery to you, and reimburse the reasonable cost incurred by you in returning the product.

Where you have validly returned a product which is a substitute product (not an exchange), we will refund the full amount paid by you for the product, cost of delivery to you, and reimburse the reasonable cost incurred by you in returning the product.

Where you have validly returned a product to us because it is defective or for some other reason for which we are responsible, we will refund the full amount paid by you for the product, including the cost of delivery to you, and reimburse the reasonable cost incurred by you in returning the product.

Where you have returned a product in circumstances other than those listed at (1) to (3) above (which includes rejecting a defective product more than 6 months after receipt), any refund will be at our discretion.

If requested we may arrange for the collection of products. We will process any refund due to you within 14 days of the day we receive the returned products as described above. We aim to make refunds using the same method as that used by you to pay for your purchase.

Please note that for products bought as presents, refunds can only be given to the original payer, and if you decide to exchange an item, we cannot prevent the original payer from being aware of the exchange.
